Mission Statement:
A Central ND interfaith network of volunteers providing care that promotes interdependence for our rural citizens.
Our Program:
Involves services that allow interdependence as it relates to our rural community. These may include transportation, companionship and assisting with household tasks.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Transportation to medical appointments and church or social events. Volunteers may assist in the clients’ home to maintain their independence.
Accomplishments:
16,000 miles of medical transportation provided in a two year period, friendships and relationships that has allowed rural community members to stay in their home. Area Ministerial is supportive and advises our organization.
Alfred and Verna Weisser are Harvey's Faith in Action volunteers of the year. They have provided more than 16,000 miles of medical transportation in less than two years.
